FAQs

How much is shipping?

The zine prices shown do not include shipping. Shipping costs depend on which and how many zines you've ordered and where your zine(s) are being shipped. (If you pick up zines at a con, there is no charge for shipping.)

Never Far Apart and Never Far Apart 2 are both shipped within the U.S. using U.S. Priority Mail. NFA2, however, is thicker and heavier, so the shipping cost is higher.

Never Far Apart is shipped outside the U.S. using International Priority Mail. International Priority shipping for NFA2 is significantly more expensive, so you also have the option to select International First-class Mail, which is not as fast but much more reasonable.

Multiple zines ordered together are always shipped Priority Mail, whatever the destination. Note that shipping costs to international destinations will usually (not always) be less if you place a separate order for each individual zine. Try it each way before finalizing your order to see which way will work best for you.

If you live in the U.S., you may choose to have your zine shipment insured for an extra cost. Insurance is not available for International Priority Mail - it can only be purchased if you use methods of international shipment that are significantly more expensive.

The various shipping and insurance costs for the number of zines you have in your cart will appear when you view your cart and click "check out." You will still be able to continue shopping or remove or change items in your cart.

Depending on circumstances, there is a remote possibility that zines may be shipped by a method other than those listed here. If you would like to know the precise shipping method used for your zine order, please contact me.

I would like my zines shipped some other way, like Fed Ex

This may be possible in some circumstances - contact me with your question.

What forms of payment do you take?

Paypal (through which you can use a credit card), U.S. checks, money orders, and cash, all in USD only. If you send cash through the mail, though, you do so at your own risk; I do not recommend this.

The only exception to the USD requirement is for zines picked up and paid for in cash at Nattercon. I will accept British pounds for these. The GBP price of zines will be slightly higher than the USD price to cover exchange costs.

Where do I send payment, and whom do I make checks or money orders payable to?

When you complete your order, a page will appear telling you where to send your check or money order (or cash, at your own risk) and to whom to make it payable. You will also receive a confirmation email with this information. If you don't receive this email or misplace it, please contact me and I'll re-send it, as the mailing address is not posted on the site.

How long will it take to get my zines?

Your zines should be shipped no more than two weeks after your payment clears. Occasionally exigencies outside my control may cause a delay, in which case I will notify you. If you have questions about the status of your order, feel free to contact me any time.

I want to pick up my zines at a con. How does this work?

The forthcoming cons at which Justazine Publications zines will be sold (either by me or an agent) are listed on the home page. Copies may be limited, so if you want to be certain to get a particular zine, please place a pre-order before the con. Simply add the zine to your cart, and when you check out, select "con pickup" as your delivery method and choose the appropriate con. Unless otherwise noted, you may pay for pre-orders in advance (if you want to use Paypal, you must pay in advance) or when you pick them up at the con.

I want to comment about a story. Will you send me the author's email address?

Contact me. If the author has given me permission to provide her contact information, I will do so; otherwise, I can pass on your message to her, and she can decide whether to respond to you directly or through me. Most authors are happy to correspond with fans.

I have more questions that you haven't addressed here.

Contact me! If it's a good question, I'll probably even add it to the FAQ! :-)
